Field Manager

David’s Roofing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Roofing production Field Manager to oversee day-to-day field operations for our roofing projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in residential and/or commercial roofing, with proven expertise in crew leadership, project scheduling, material coordination, and job site quality control. This role is essential to ensuring our roofing jobs are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

As the Production Manager, you will supervise field crews and subcontractors, manage project workflows, ensure compliance with OSHA and local building codes, and resolve job site challenges proactively. You’ll be a key liaison between sales, operations, customers, and installers—responsible for maintaining productivity and customer satisfaction at every stage of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement and scheduling of labor and materials needed to meet the requirements of each job.
• Monitor quality control throughout jobs and upon job completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the day to day activities of the Project Manager(s) and Job Foremen
• Manage relationships with subcontractors, including scheduling, communication,
• compliance, safety, and workmanship quality.
• Foster a culture of safety among Strength employees and subcontractors and ensure personnel are adequately trained per the Company Safety Manual.
• Work collaboratively with Sales & Production departments to ensure an excellent customer experience and to quickly and professionally resolve any issues.
• Regular and reliable attendance in the office on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Experience in Roofing or Construction: roofing or construction industry experience (production or project management preferred).
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage crews and subcontractors.
• Project Management: Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, materials procurement, and logistics.
• Knowledge of Roofing Systems: Familiarity with various roofing systems (asphalt shingles, metal, TPO, EPDM, etc.).
• Safety Knowledge: Deep understanding of OSHA standards and job site safety practices.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for coordinating with crews, vendors, customers, and internal teams.
• Problem Solving: Ability to quickly address job site issues and conflicts.
• Technology Proficiency: Comfortable with project management software, CRM systems, email, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (often required for job site visits).

Pay: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
